Your Skin, Explained
The outermost layer of the skin's epidermis is made up of tightly packed dead skin cells. These cells, called keratinocytes, start as active cells in the deeper layers of the skin and gradually move up, losing their ability to divide and eventually becoming flat, hardened cells filled with keratin.
By the time they reach the surface, they form a tough, protective barrier that is difficult to penetrate, acting like a brick wall to shield the body from external threats and retain moisture. Skin with higher levels of eumelanin presents an even more unique challenge due to its thicker and denser structure.
Melanin, the pigment responsible for skin colour, exists in ALL skin tones in the form of eumelanin and pheomelanin. Our formula works harmoniously across this spectrum, and delivers proven results with skin with higher melanin (eumelanin) as a foundation to ensure efficacy across all skin tones.

Neurocosmetic ingredient GABA communicates with the skin-microbiome-brain axis to target specific layers of the skin to relax facial tension, resulting in a smoother appearance.
