What is a Matrix Delivery System? 

Our delivery system accesses unique mechanisms of intracellular pathways that focus on the intrinsic properties of each ingredient molecules to ensure they effectively reach living cells within the skin.  In simpler terms - it ensures that each of the ingredients can do their job in your skin without getting caught up in the skin layers where they can’t be properly utilised. This is specifically important for skins with a higher melanin content as they have a denser structure and the melanin can act as a natural defence mechanism (much as it does when protecting skin against the effects of sun).

Meet the scientist behind our groundbreaking delivery system

Harnessing 15 years of scientific research and as the first MSc Cosmetic Skin Scientist and Research and Development Product Specialist in anti-ageing for all skin tones, Faiza Hussain, has worked with some of the most advanced laboratories globally to develop high-tech, clinically backed formulas and biotech-driven innovations. Playing a key role in launching hundreds of products, including many household brands taken to market by industry leaders.  

Her journey, however, started from as young as the age of eight, where she was fascinated with skin health, winning BBC Blue Peter competitions for writing articles on dry skin and eczema and how food impacts our skin. From battling teenage acne to addressing the nuances associated with melanin-inclusive skin, science drives her commitment to developing solutions that provide clinically proven results.
